Stanton masterminded an attempt to recover cocaine which had been confiscated by the authorities at Tilbury Docks on the River Thames in Essex. Police bugged the cartel’s cars and followed them to meetings over two and a half years. It was said to ‘principally’ involve amphetamine and cocaine , but also cannabis ‘on a vast scale’. Analysis of his mobile phone indicated he had made 13 previous visits to the area, which the prosecution say were weekly collections. Undercover police also watched gang members meet dealers at Liverpool Docks, Wetherby and Scotch Corner.

Rebecca Grundy you should let people know when the roundabout is going to be closed at scotch corner so we can go off at piercebridge because we live in the Dales and it puts an extra 20 mins on our journey , 4 times last week it was closed but no mention of a closure.
As the roads through Piercebridge are not suitable for the type and volume of traffic that would want to use the motorway network we avoid installing any signs that would lead motorists to try and use this route. However, appreciating the situation you face, we are able to add you to our weekly traffic management email bulletin which provides details of the closures for the coming week including those at Scotch Corner Interchange so that you can plan your journeys accordingly. If you would like to be added to this please send your email address to a1leemingtobarton highwaysengland.
A Hi, I live in Leeming bar and when I was driving southbound the other night my junction was closed to come off, no prior warning, just a road closed…I then had to go on to the Ripon turn off adding 32 mins to my journey! Can you please inform us before we get to this junction of this closure? I have just rang to see if it will be open tonight, and no one knows yet, so I will have to now call later to find out!
We did have closures of the exit slip road at Junction 51, each evening between 6th February and 10th February.

Other specialist types of prison are also represented, eg mental hospitals and military stockades. Since the Church have independent Courts aka Ecclesiastical Courts , perhaps there are Church prisons also?
No, those Courts only deal with non-imprisonable problems, such as clashes in the layout of cemeteries. Now mainly invoked in Exemptions in planning law. That’s Manx legislation for you: A Prison is defined here as a residential facility which the residents are not free to leave. This is complicated by Open Prisons, where the residents agree not to leave, on pain of agreed consequences.
Hundreds of people a year abscond from Open Prisons anyway. It is not just in other countries where this sort of thing goes on.
